Getting More Women into the C-Suite

“At least 50 percent of the women graduating from top MBA programs in 2017 will exit the full-time US workforce within 10 years of graduating—either because they choose to step out or are “forced out.” This trend does not portend well for future progress.”  This is a great article by Sally Blout and it’s well worth the read.  She has a great point, that “if we can get 25 percent more women to apply to business school; if we can get 25 percent more women to take business jobs early on; if we can get 25 percent more women to stay in the full-time work force during the mid-career years; if we can surround our strongest senior women with the support they need to reach for the biggest jobs, we could finally begin to realize our full potential as a society that espouses equal rights for all.  The young women getting ready to enter business school could really use some more mentors.”  If you have a daughter, encourage her to think about business school.  We want to see more women in our Talent Pipeline!
