HR/Payroll Associate

Sr Associate for Payroll.  Reporting into the People Services organization, this role will oversee day to day operations of payroll for employees across US & Canada and will also oversee global stock plan administration, in compliance with applicable country, federal and state laws and regulations. This role is responsible for the preparation, disbursement and reporting of payroll using ADP. In addition, this role provides HR administrative support including record keeping, HRIS transactions through the employee life cycle.
Key responsibilities include:
Payroll and HR (75%)
•    Working with our outsourced payroll provider (ADP), ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for US, Canada, and Australia employees
•    Partner with ADP Payroll Specialist in payroll cycle, including review of all payroll processing, such as payroll preview and final register through ADP Workforce Now
•    Enter employee data such as new hires, employee data updates, and terminations in provided ADP Workforce Now® system
•    Ensure managers approve employee time records and resolve all exceptions based on documented payroll processing timeline
•    Advise ADP of all pay related adjustments and updates, such as pro-rations, retroactive payments, stop payments, and off-cycle payments
•    Manage employee HR records
•    Answers inquiries regarding employment verification.
•    Respond to employee inquiries and requests regarding general HR and payroll matters
•    Utilize reports and reporting tools as needed to support business needs
•    Partner with Benefits Lead to ensure appropriate payroll administration of benefit elections (domestic partner imputed income, 401K contribution limits, etc)
Stock Plan Administration (25%)
•    Compile and load new hire grants once proper approvals are obtained
•    Collect & load international tax rates for vesting, reviewing and approving distributions
•    Distribute or process final vest information
•    Collect, reconcile and load quarterly ESPP contributions
•    Partner with Finance, Legal and Compensation in preparation of all required reporting related to equity
Qualifications Required
•    Two-year diploma in relevant field required; bachelors degree preferred
•    Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
•    Minimum of five years of relevant experience; experience in stock plan administration a plus
•    Ability to organizational and planning skills; ability to schedule and track multiple payrolls and tasks
•    Strong detail orientation and exceptional organizational, quantitative and analytical skills
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
•    Strong working understanding of domestic payroll required; knowledge of international payroll a plus
•    Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
•    Advanced knowledge of MS Excel preferred (VLOOKUPS, pivot tables)
