Recruitment Technology Trends – 2016 & Beyond

Matthew Fischer, CTO Bullhorn, was at LinkedIn discussing technology trends for recruitment and the impact these are going to have for consultants, clients and candidates in the industry.  how do you position yourself online to make your candidate & client experience of dealing with you easier? If you are the client how does your online application system improve your employer brand by making it a smoother process? And if you are a candidate how do you make yourself easier to deal with when you are online?

Mobile technology, has been one of the most disruptive trends over the past seven years for any business operating on the internet. More google searches were conducted on mobile than desktop for the first time last year and recruiters will need to begin using mobile technology to influence candidates.

There is an increasing need to be insights led when engaging customers/clients and in effect kill the cold call. Through a combination of social media and mobile CRM tools, the data being generated by an individuals digital footprint will continue to create relationship insights and customer intelligence for both clients and candidates giving recruiters the information to make a call at the right time and lead with the right information. This will also lead in the future to a more proactive intelligence from CRM tools as predictive match algorithms become more advanced and your database will start automatically providing you with customer intelligence so you can add value to a new or existing client on every call/interaction.

A social media strategy that creates a sense of differentiation and establishes a true brand is the sweet spot where recruiters are going to be even more successful in the future.  Have you visited The Autumn Group on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram?
