We had a great time at the UMass Amherst Career Fair on Tuesday, September 27th.  We were set up in the lower level of Hotel UMass.  We arrived at 8:30 to set up our display.  They provided juice, coffee, muffins, fruit and pastries for all the vendors, which we welcomed because we really worked up a sweat lugging in all the boxes of materials that we needed.

We had our stylus pens, notepads, and waters with our logo.  We also had flyers that described the jobs we have available.  Our table drape looked great, after ironing it for three days straight.  Note for next time, roll, not fold.  And of course we had chocolate and mints to keep everyone’s breath fresh 🙂  We did a lot of talking so they really came in handy for everyone.

There were a lot of companies in attendance. PTC, General Dynamics, Microsoft, Pratt & Whitney to name a few.  Sovos, from Wilmington, MA, was set up to the right of us, and Dielectrics, Chicopee, MA, was to our left.  They were both very nice and it was interesting to learn more about their companies. 

We did so much talking for over 5 hours straight, so our little water bottles came in handy!

 We met lots of amazing talented students and really enjoyed getting to know them more.  They were very professional, and dressed for the part.  The fair went on from 10-3.  It was bustling with students the entire time!  A lot of the students were dropping their resumes and papers all over the floor, so they really appreciated our TAG BAG to store all their stuff.
