Applications Developer

Position Summary:
Working within the Office of Court Management’s (OCM) Fiscal Affairs Department, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Section, is looking for an Applications Developer with at least three years of experience to support multiple business initiatives in support of the execution of various TRC projects.  The position requires a balance of analytical skills, with strong project and task management. 


  1. Manages complex projects from design and development to production.
  2. Identifies and solves project issues.
  3. Creates data models and written reports
  4. Strong communication (written, presentation and verbal) skills.
  5. Financial Report Writing (SQL), Access DB, PowerBI, Tableau
  6. Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, financial applications
  7. Understanding of Accounting/Finance Principles (Government background preferred)
  8. Analytical/Problem solving background
  9. Someone with a quantifiable history of creating efficiencies using software (time/cost savings as a direct result of independent work)
  10. Focus on data integrity (past validation efforts, very large data sets)
  11. Working with end users to gather and document requirements
  12. Work with most phases of systems while considering the business and technical implications of the application of technology to current and future business needs
  13. create process change through the integration of the new processes with existing ones and communication of the changes to business users
  14. formulate and define systems scope and objectives
  15. Develop and modify complex queries and reports, facilitate the delivery of technical business solutions
  16. Analyze business and user needs, document requirements and devise technical solutions
  17. Recommend and facilitate quality improvement efforts


  1. Proficiency in MS Project; MS Office; cloud-based solutions (i.e. Oracle, SAP, Questica, Anaplan)
  2. Strong SQL query skills and experience with relational databases and advanced query tools (preferably knowledge jggof. Putty, Netezza)
  3. Knowledge of RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) is a plus
  4. Minimum 2 years of project management or IT Management.
  5. Minimum 2 years’ experience coordinating and/supporting IT business processes
  6. PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent preferred
  7. Former local, state, federal government experience preferred


  1. Employment is contingent upon passage of a criminal record check.
  2. The selected candidate(s) must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination to the Trial Court’s Human Resources Department prior to their start date or agree to submit to weekly testing as a condition of employment.
